About

The College Sutra is a sex and relationship advice site for college students, though plenty of what we say is relevant to younger students and graduates too. We post a couple of times each week with answers to college students’ questions about sexual health, sex techniques, relationship problems, identity issues, and other topics. You can send your questions (and comments) to collegesutra@gmail.com

The College Sutra is rooted in the beliefs that relationships should be based in communication and honesty; that sex can be healthy even when it’s queer, kinky, polyamorous, or outside of relationships, but should always be consensual and use safer sex practices; and that it’s good to have more knowledge of our bodies and our options.

The College Sutra is written by Kat Corcoran and Dan Copulsky, who’ve been dating since April 2006. Kat’s an EMT, certified phlebotomist, doula, and medical student. Dan’s a freelance writer (job offers can be sent to dcopulsky@gmail.com). We started writing sex advice in the Bard College at Simon’s Rock newspaper, The Llama Ledger (llamaledger.com), where our weekly column was called “The Llama Sutra.”
